June 1st, 2017 Update: The I-Fund (EFA) continues its’ uptrend and is outperforming the other TSP funds by a wide margin. The I-Fund historically possess a greater risk than both the C & S funds. For those already retired and drawing on their TSP funds for current income a position no larger than 10% of your portfolio may be prudent. For those at or near retirement age, and not planning to begin withdrawals for several years, you might consider up to 20% of your portfolio in the I-Fund. For the young and bold 50% in the I-Fund may be warranted.
